  • Affordable & Accessible Arts | Pensacola Children's Chorus

TUITION & FEES RESIDENT CHOIR PROGRAM A ffordable & A ccessible A rts PCC's Triple-A Commitment Complete a Triple-A Application Today Step Up PEP Student? Use your scholarship! Arts should be accessible to everyone, regardless of finances. To unleash and support the potential of all young people in Northwest Florida, we must remove barriers. Access to life-changing arts education should not be the exclusive privilege of those with higher levels of expendable income. This is the philosophy behind PCC’s Triple-A Commitment: Affordable & Accessible Arts —a cultural and economic equalizer which empowers families to pay tuition based on their financial ability. What is it? This Triple-A Commitment adopts a sliding scale model of tuition. As such, a family contributes according to their household’s expendable income. This commitment stands on a foundation of fairness and equity and enables families across all socioeconomic brackets to access the quality music education programs of the Pensacola Children’s Chorus. How much might my family pay? While every family is different, PCC’s Triple-A Commitment makes tuition assistance much more transparent. The two largest contributing factors are your household size (i.e., the number of individuals living under the same roof) and total household income. Combined, these metrics will determine how much you will pay (represented by a percentage off full price fees). You can estimate with these charts: Monthly Tuition What costs are included in the Triple-A Commitment? This Triple-A Commitment includes reductions in monthly and/or semester tuition, the one-time registration fee, select performance tickets, and select merchandise items. Do I have to submit my financial information? We encourage all families to complete a Triple-A Application to get a true placement on the scale. However, those who do not wish to submit their financial information will be assessed maximum cost for PCC’s programs. Does PCC give full (100%) awards? The Triple-A Commitment considers the importance of a family’s “stake in the game.” As such, each family is expected to make an investment in their child’s success as well as their commitment to PCC’s programs. The minimum that any family might pay is $25 per month for singers in the Resident Choir Program. If additional financial assistance is needed, please ask about our Sing to Succeed program to see if your student qualifie s for free tuition. Does PCC accept Step Up scholarships? The Pensacola Children’s Chorus is now a direct service provider through Step Up for Students. After providing proper notification, families may use available funds to pay for their child’s PCC membership. Click here for more information. • Partnerships | Pensacola Children's Chorus

OUR PARTNERS PENSACOLA CHILDREN’S CHORUS We work alongside these and numerous other partners to create quality musical experiences, foster youth leadership, and inspire our community. In January 2023, PCC was awarded a multiyear grant through the Escambia Children’s Trust , a taxpayer funded agency which provides leadership, funding, services, and research on behalf of Escambia County’s children to ensure they grow up to be healthy, productive, stable community members. Focusing on a target population of at-risk youth, ECT has provided membership for nearly 100 young people in PCC’s transformational choral programs. Since the beginning, the Pensacola Children’s Chorus has been closely connected to the Escambia County School District and Santa Rosa County School District . Members of PCC’s staff routinely lead professional development workshops and serve as in-classroom consultants for local music teachers. PCC hosts the area third graders each year for a special performance of Christmas on the Coast and was able to take Hauntcert to 3 different elementary schools. In March 2023, PCC partnered with the City of Pensacola to launch Pensacola Sings, a network of community choirs based in neighborhood resource centers with an aim to make singing opportunities more available to the city’s youth. Sessions resumed in March 2025 and will continue through the fall. The Pensacola Children’s Chorus regularly partners with our city’s leading arts organizations, including the Pensacola Opera , Ballet Pensacola , Pensacola Symphony Orchestra , the Choral Society of Pensacola , and Pensacola Little Theatre . These collaborations include full concerts, joint educational programs, and the exchange of costumes, set pieces, and equipment. Pensacola is fortunate to have such a vibrant arts community. Interested in partnering with PCC? If your event is for a charitable purpose, please e-mail us . If you’re interested in musical entertainment for your special event, our choirs are for hire!
