PENSACOLA CHILDREN’S CHORUS
We work alongside these and numerous other partners to create quality musical experiences, foster youth leadership, and inspire our community.
Since the beginning, the Pensacola Children’s Chorus has been closely connected to the Escambia County School District and Santa Rosa County School District. Members of PCC’s staff routinely lead professional development workshops and serve as in-classroom consultants for local music teachers. PCC hosts the area third graders each year for a special performance of Christmas on the Coast and was able to take Hauntcert to 3 different elementary schools.
In March 2023, PCC partnered with the City of Pensacola to launch Pensacola Sings, a network of community choirs based in neighborhood resource centers with an aim to make singing opportunities more available to the city’s youth. Sessions resumed in March 2025 and will continue through the fall.
The Pensacola Children’s Chorus regularly partners with our city’s leading arts organizations, including the Pensacola Opera, Ballet Pensacola, Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, the Choral Society of Pensacola, and Pensacola Little Theatre. These collaborations include full concerts, joint educational programs, and the exchange of costumes, set pieces, and equipment. Pensacola is fortunate to have such a vibrant arts community.
