The Pensacola Children’s Chorus invites singers in grades 6-12, along with chaperones and alumni, to join us for a one-in-a-lifetime performance tour of France. Our trip begins in beautiful Paris where we will explore the city’s quintessential sites, including the Tour Eiffel, Cathédrale Notre-Dame, and the Musée du Louvre. From there, we will travel to Caen with special stops in Rouen, a city famous for its musical traditions since the Middle Ages, and Chenonceau, the site of one of the most iconic châteauxs in all France. The centerpiece of the trip will be a wreath-laying ceremony at the American Cemetery in Normandy to commemorate the 101st Anniversary of D-Day, where American service members gave their lives to lay the path to victory in World War II.
